As part of our events on Fuel Poverty Awareness Day on 30th November 2023, 361 Energy CIC organised a webinar which provided training on fuel poverty for front line workers. The main part of the presentation was led by Jo Howard, one of the management team for our home energy advisors and explained the issue of fuel poverty and those who are most vulnerable to it.
There was also a presentation from Richard Blackwell from Health Innovation South West on a project between 361 Energy and the Primary Care Networks (PCN) in Northern Devon. This project focused on providing advice and support to residents with health conditions who were in fuel poverty and so at greater risk of living in a cold, damp home which could have negative impacts on their health.
