361 Energy CIC won the ‘Best Business in the Community’ at last night’s North Devon Journal Business Awards 2016. We are delighted to win this prestigious award as it acknowledges our hard work addressing fuel and water poverty in the region. The award will hopefully aid us in further raising our profile to help expand our services and also develop community owned energy projects which could enable this work to be self-sustainable. We are also looking forward to a bigger and better Energy Fair in Barnstaple Pannier Market this year on Sunday 6th November.
We would like to thank our partners, the agencies we have been working with on the Empower fuel poverty project, the Councils, RegenSW and the other community energy groups, the exhibitors at the 361 Energy Fair and the schools and colleges we have been working with. Most important have been the residents who have trusted us to offer independent advice and our supporters and volunteers who have worked hard to keep 361 Energy CIC going and make it a success.
More coverage of the event and details of the other winners can be found in the 12th May edition of the North Devon Journal and on the link below.
